LRI is funded by the UK Government through the Climate Ambition Support Alliance (CASA). It also receives funding from the International Climate Initiative (IKI) for its participation in the UNFCCC Capacity Building for Least Developed Countries (LDCs) project.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations across different regions and areas of expertise. These collaborations strengthen our projects at all levels—capacity building, legal support, training, and publications—helping us reach more communities effectively. For example, partnerships have enabled us to deliver training and publications for climate negotiators and provide legal assistance in multiple languages.

We also receive generous in-kind contributions from leading law firms, barrister chambers and universities — support that enables us to operate efficiently and expand our reach.
