This presentation, prepared by LRI in the context of a workshop co-organised with iied, and the Prakriti Resources Centre in February 2025, addresses text drafting in its very practical-legal elements. By revealing the different types of COP outcomes and the degree of commitment different words can hold, it leads to a practical exercise centred around a draft text on the Global Goal on Adaptation.
